DJ Vida is a Miami Beach-born, NYC-based DJ who has been spinning for ten years. She considers herself to be two DJ's: one as an open format DJ that wows any crowd from Hip-Hop to Indie, and the other as one that prefers to showcase a passion for amazing electronica.  
  
Vida has opened for Drake, A-Trak and Ed Sheeran. She’s spun (and hosted) at hundreds of the best clubs and bars in New York & Miami. Vida has played the sold-out Ultra Music festival, appeared on VH1 and Revolt TV and is the resident dj for the Brooklyn Nets’ VIP lounge.

Vida is also a resident at TopShop, H&M and Saks, among others. She is one of NYC’s premier wedding DJs and is producing solo work.

It was clear from the moment I was born that music was to be my destiny. My mother played disco music on repeat to me while in the womb. I started my musical training at the age of 5 with in house piano lessons. Despite the musical notation, I seemed to only learn by ear which was an insight to the decades to come of being overly attentive to musical sounds around me. I look back on high school years as being the girl with the headphones who made countless mixtapes for herself and her friends.

My biggest regret was waiting so long to declare that I was to be a professional DJ. My first gig was in 2005 in Miami and very quickly landed a weekly residency at a venue in Manhattan called Happy Endings lounge.
